Schedule: Day/Night rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, self-scheduling with variable weekend coverage based on unit needs

Highlights:

• 36-bed medical oncology unit caring for patients with solid tumor cancers across the full cancer care continuum
• Staffing ratios typically 1:4 with a maximum of 1:5 patients per nurse
• Self-scheduling system allowing you to enter preferred schedule requests before final schedule posting
• Comprehensive 72-hour orientation including one week of day shift orientation followed by on-unit preceptor training
• EPIC charting system with interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, rapid response teams, and social services
• Oncology experience preferred but not required; training and support provided

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ONS Chemotherapy certification preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Telemetry interpretation and monitoring skills
• Core competencies: IV access and maintenance, blood product administration, central line management, chemotherapy administration, isolation precautions, and tracheostomy care
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Must be willing to float to other Medical Surgical Oncology units as needed
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or formal leadership role
