Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend; patient ratio 1:4-5; average daily census of 35 patients

• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration required) including milrinone, dobutamine, amiodarone, cardizem, and heparin
• Pre- and post-cardiac cath and cardiac surgery experience highly valued
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 2 years of telemetry experience

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact State RN license required at time of application
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry or progressive care experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 4:1 or 5:1 patient ratios
• Core skills include cardiac telemetry, blood product administration, central line management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, PCA pumps, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, and wound care
• Must have hands-on experience managing cardiac drips (milrinone, dobutamine, amiodarone, cardizem, lidocaine, bumex, heparin) without titration
• Two supervisory references (manager level or above) required at time of submission
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Full compliance required prior to start date
