Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts

• 25-bed Surgical Trauma Stepdown unit in a Level 2 Trauma Center
• 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio (1:5 max)
• Diverse case mix including trauma surgery, bariatric, vascular, orthopedic, neuro/spine, and cardiac patients
• Meditech EMR system with telemetry monitoring
• No on-call requirement; floating limited to stepdown service lines
• Collaborative team environment with experienced staff

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Trauma and/or orthopedic experience preferred
• Meditech EMR experience a plus
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for managing complex post-operative and acute care patients
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
