Schedule: 12-hour shifts with weekend coverage required; patient ratios are 5:1 during days, 6:1 during nights and weekends

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit caring for adult and geriatric patients with a daily census of 30
• Diverse patient population including general medical, pre- and post-operative care, and post-cardiac catheterization
• Exposure to bedside procedures including dialysis catheter placement, thoracentesis, and incision and drainage
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• EPIC EMR system; pre-assignment modules are billable up to 16 hours
• Flexibility with floating to other units based on skill set and competency

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
• At least 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience required
• Experience with isolation precautions, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, peripheral line care, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility (distance requirements may vary based on shift and specialty)
