Schedule: No block schedule; local candidates accepted; 32 hours on-call per month (approximately 1 weekend per month with 24-hour call both days)

Highlights:

• Specialize in adult open heart surgery including CABG, valve replacements (aortic, mitral, and pulmonic)
• Work with advanced cardiac devices: Impella, HeartMate, ECMO, laser lead extractions, and TAVR procedures
• Both scrub and circulate responsibilities for open CVOR cases
• Float to Main OR when no CVOR cases are scheduled
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Opportunity for first-time travelers with relevant experience

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of cardiovascular OR experience required
• Active NJ or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required; CNOR preferred
• Strong scrub experience in open CVOR cases and TAVR procedures required
• Knowledge and experience with advanced cardiac devices (Impella, HeartMate, ECMO, laser lead extractions)
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Willingness to float within skillset as needed
