Schedule: Multiple shifts available; 6 weekend days per 6-week period; 2 on-call shifts per 6-week period

• Diverse case mix including clinic-type patients, strokes, STEMIs, Level I traumas, post-surgical complications, pregnancy complications, pediatrics, and behavioral health
• Structured orientation program with dedicated preceptor support and competency validation
• Opportunity to practice independently while managing complex clinical situations
• On-call shifts provide additional flexibility and coverage support as needed
• Newly licensed RNs may participate in residency program with specialized tracking and development

Requirements:

• Active RN license in New Mexico or compact state
• Recent Emergency Department experience in Trauma Level I, II, or III setting required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum one year of related nursing specialty experience preferred
