Schedule: Every other weekend

  • Care for over 4,000 cardiology patients annually with advanced procedures including PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers
  • Manage post-operative open heart surgery patients and specialize in congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies
  • Part of a Top 50 Heart Hospital in the U.S. with involvement in national clinical research trials
  • Opportunities to work with advanced equipment including vents, CRRT, and balloon pumps
  • Call coverage possible; flexibility to float to similar units as needed

Requirements:

  • Active Michigan RN license (verification required)
  • ACLS and BLS certifications current and valid
  • Minimum 1+ year of cardiovascular or critical care nursing experience required
  • EKG interpretation skills required
  • Neuro, CVICU, or trauma experience preferred
  • Experience managing vents, CRRT, and balloon pumps preferred
  • Willingness to float to similar units as required
  • Skills checklist completed within one year of application
