Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays, no block scheduling available

Highlights:

• Cardiovascular ICU experience with fresh open-heart cases including CABG, MVR, AVR, and TAVR
• 1:1 to 1:2 patient ratio with comprehensive critical care support
• Float to all ICUs, PACU, ED for ICU holding patients, and all Intermediate Care units based on clinical need
• Work with advanced cardiac devices including Impella, IABP, and CRRT using Prismaflex
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of acute care experience

Requirements:

• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of acute critical care experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required at time of submission
• CVICU experience with fresh open-heart surgical cases such as CABG, valve replacements, and TAVR required; SICU experience may be considered with initial CVICU training
• Demonstrated competency with post-op open-heart recovery, Swan-Ganz monitoring, FloTrac, temporary pacers, arterial lines, ventilators, and chest tubes
• Experience with cardiac support devices including Impella, IABP, and CRRT using Prismaflex
• Proficiency in managing BiPAP, CPAP, 12-lead EKG, ventilated patients, and complex cardiovascular conditions
• Ability to float within skillset and adapt patient ratios based on acuity and census
