Schedule: 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), rotating weekdays and weekends, rotating holidays
Highlights:
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Medical-Surgical experience welcomed
- Patient ratio of 1:4 across all shifts
- Epic EMR system utilized throughout the organization
- 24 hours of orientation provided
- Interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
- Float opportunities within the organization as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
- Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Epic charting system experience required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Strong neuro skills, including stroke care, craniotomy, CVA management, and post-neurosurgery care
- Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, IV management, arterial/central line care, and titrating cardiac drips
- 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
