Schedule: Varied shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week, 13-week assignment. Call requirements include one weekday per week and one 24-hour weekend per month (Friday 3pm to Monday 7am).

• Specialize in high-acuity neurosurgery with 85% spine and 15% brain procedures
• Work with advanced surgical technology including da Vinci XI, Globus and Mako robotics, and microscopes
• 17-bed surgical suite covering general, neuro, orthopedic, cardiac, transplant, and robotic procedures
• 1:1 nursing ratio with 1-2 surgical techs per case for optimal team support
• Exposure to craniotomies, transplants, and advanced neurosurgical techniques
• Meditech electronic documentation system

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience in an acute care hospital setting (surgery centers do not qualify)
• Strong neurosurgery experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Robotic surgery and Meditech experience preferred
