Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (06:15 - 16:45), Monday through Friday with call requirements

Highlights:

• Work in a specialized CVOR environment with advanced cardiac and thoracic procedures including ECMO and Impella support
• 1:1 patient ratio ensuring focused, high-quality care
• Comprehensive case mix: CABG, valve replacements (AVR, MVR, TVR), TAVR, aortic dissections, laser lead extractions, and more
• Epic charting system with 24 hours of paid orientation
• Call requirement: 2 days per week and every third weekend (approximately 14 call days per 6-week schedule)
• Flexibility to float to main OR on same campus based on CVOR volume

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with ECMO and Impella required
• Level I trauma experience preferred
• Proficiency in scrubbing cardiac cases preferred but not required
• NC or Compact state nursing license (pending acceptable for submission; must be in hand at start)
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Additional Information:

• Contract staff may be assigned to Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team and required to report during catastrophic events
• Scrubs provided (blue)
• Non-billable modules (8-10 hours) must be completed pre-start
• Up to 7 days of requested time off may be approved; candidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Local candidates (permanent address under 50 miles) may be offered a different rate
