Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Neuroscience/Stepdown Unit – Tennessee

Start Date: Not specified
Location: Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Weekend shifts required; specific scheduling based on unit needs

Highlights:

30-bed unit featuring 22 acute care beds and 8 neuro stepdown beds
Patient ratios: 6:1 on acute care, 4:1 on neuro stepdown
Diverse case mix including stroke care, chest tubes, trachs, and titrating cardiac drips
Supportive staffing model with charge RN, 1-2 techs, and unit secretary
Meditech documentation system
Excellent stepping stone for nurses seeking ICU experience

Requirements:

Active RN license
BLS certification required for acute care; BLS and ACLS required for neuro stepdown
Strong critical thinking and time management skills
Stepdown experience preferred for neuro stepdown assignments
Ability to work with advanced equipment including Vapotherm, BiPap, and various drips
