Highlights:

• 35-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit focused on patient functional improvement and independence
• Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiatry, and Neuropsychology
• Manageable patient ratios with dedicated tech support (2-4 techs per census) and unit secretary assistance
• Meditech documentation system with standard equipment including Baxter IV pumps, bladder scanners, and vital signs machines
• Opportunity to perform diverse clinical skills including IV medication administration, PICC line care, PEG tube management, trach care, and blood administration
• May float to other Medical-Surgical departments as needed

Requirements:

• Active Virginia RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Medical-Surgical or Progressive Care Unit experience required
• Rehabilitation experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in medication administration (including IV, PICC, PEG tube), bladder scans, trach care, tube feeding, Foley catheter insertion, bladder irrigation, and blood product administration
