Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Trauma Unit – Virginia**Start Date:** Not specified**Location:** Richmond, Virginia**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** Day and night shifts available; 5-6:1 patient ratio; every other weekend; no call required**Highlights:**- 34-bed medical trauma unit with telemetry capabilities on a well-staffed floor with experienced nursing team- Diverse case mix including complex wounds, blood product administration, pain management, and chest tubes- Remote telemetry monitoring with modern equipment including vein finders, bladder scanners, and wound vacs- Meditech EMR system for streamlined documentation and care coordination- Private patient rooms with supportive team structure including charge nurse, multiple RNs/LPNs, techs, and documentation assistant- Opportunities to float within medical surgical and telemetry units for professional growth**Requirements:**- Active RN license in Virginia or ability to obtain- Current BLS certification required- Medical Surgical nursing experience required- Trauma experience preferred- Telemetry experience and certification preferred**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**Join a compassionate, collaborative team dedicated to providing comprehensive care to medical and trauma patients.
