Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 1:4 patient ratio
Highlights:
- Oncology-focused emergency department pod with combined adult and pediatric patient populations
- 15-room, 19-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
- EPIC electronic medical record system utilized facility-wide
- 14-week contract with potential for 7 consecutive days off at facility discretion
- Opportunity to work with diverse patient age groups including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Floating required as needed to support facility operations
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- EPIC charting system experience required
- Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
- Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
- Oncology experience preferred but not required
- Skills in blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and triage
- Graduation from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Two professional references required (at least one from management or formal leadership)
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
