Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM with one variable day off per week. Call requirement: one night per week plus one weekend (Saturday/Sunday) during 13-week contract

Highlights:

• Busy rural hospital operating 5 ORs until 3:00 PM, transitioning to 3 ORs until 5:00 PM
• Diverse surgical specialties including general, OB/GYN with C-sections, orthopedics (including total joints and pediatric ortho), ophthalmology, vascular, urology, and pulmonology
• Advanced technology including Mako robot and cell saver equipment
• Epic charting system utilized facility-wide
• Daily census of 25 with 5 operating rooms
• 40-hour orientation period with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years OR experience required; 4 years preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required - no first-time travelers
• Active RN license (state or compact) valid at time of submission
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CNOR
• C-section experience required
• Trauma and gunshot wound experience required
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• General OR experience across multiple specialties including scrub experience for general surgery, orthopedics/spine, and laparoscopic-assisted procedures
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered with facility documentation)
• Ability to float within hospital as needed
