Location: Multiple facilities across Oregon
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Block scheduling with every other weekend required; Evening shift 1:5 ratio, Night shift 1:10 ratio
Highlights:
- Pediatric and adolescent acute psychiatric inpatient unit serving ages 6-17
- 20-bed unit with average daily census of 18-20 patients, divided into children's and adolescent's sides
- Epic charting system in 109-bed short-term acute care facility
- 16 hours of orientation provided with comprehensive interdisciplinary team support
- Opportunity to work with diverse patient diagnoses including behavioral dysregulation, acute suicidal ideation, mood disorders, and trauma-related conditions
- Floating opportunities across multiple regional facilities with incentives for certain locations
Requirements:
- Active Oregon RN license (or pending)
- Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience mandatory – first-time travelers cannot be considered
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required
- Epic charting experience required
- Experience with child/adolescent populations, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, psychotic disorders, substance use, suicidal behavior, and trauma-related disorders
- Competency in physical hold protocols, medication administration, seclusion procedures, and psychoeducation
- Reliable vehicle required for assignment
- Must be willing to float between multiple facilities based on organizational needs
- Availability to work 3 out of 5 major holidays
