Schedule: Night shift, 1:6 patient ratio, every other weekend required, 13–26 week assignments available

Requirements:

• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Oncology certification (ONS/ONCC) strongly preferred; must be able to administer chemotherapy
• Experience with med/surg skills including colostomy care, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line management, PICC lines, wound care/wound vac, chest tubes, and isolation precautions
• Proficiency with heparin and insulin drips, surgical drains, and non-invasive airway management
• Ability to float to similar units and alternate care locations as needed
• Flexibility to work storm team/hurricane team during catastrophic events if required
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
