Schedule: Night shift, 18:45–07:15; 36 or 48 hours per week supported

Highlights:

• 13-week assignment in a 30-bed telemetry unit caring for patients with chest pain, arrhythmias, pacemakers, and defibrillators
• Patient ratio of 1:5–6 on night shift with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and more
• Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
• 36 hours of structured orientation to support your success from day one
• Work alongside a heart failure navigator and collaborate with a dedicated care team
• Weekend requirement: 4 weekend days per 6-week time period

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience
• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license required by start date)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Must pass pre-start EKG competency testing
• Strong proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience managing cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Milrinone, Amiodarone, Lasix, and Heparin
• Demonstrated experience with blood product administration, central and peripheral line management, and isolation precautions
• Willingness to float to other telemetry units based on unit needs
• Ability to work holidays as scheduled (2 out of 3 major holidays required)
• Flu vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions only)
