Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, weekend coverage required

Highlights:

• Specialized oncology pod within a busy emergency department setting
• 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio for optimal care delivery

• 19-bed unit with 15 rooms serving diverse patient populations including adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, social services, and pharmacy
• Floating to other units required as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Oncology experience preferred but not required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license)
• Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Skills in blood product administration, central line care, ventilated patient care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and triage
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director level)
