Location: Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required (6 weekend shifts per 6-week period), no call

Highlights:

• Float assignment across IMC, Telemetry (cardiac and non-cardiac), and Medical/Surgical units
• 4:1 patient ratio across all shifts (days, nights, and weekends)
• Advanced patient population including pulmonary, cardiac, trauma, ventilator-dependent, and cardiac drip patients
• Epic EMR system with mandatory training class provided
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Adult patient population with diverse critical care conditions

Requirements:

• Active Virginia or Compact State RN license (must be active/in hand at time of submission)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Cardiac Telemetry certification required
• Minimum 3 years of PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Demonstrated experience managing dysrhythmias, cardiac drips with titration, heparin protocols, central and PICC line care
• Pre/Post cardiac catheterization experience required
• Experience with rapid response teams, telemetry monitoring, and isolation precautions required
• Epic EMR experience (recent experience within past year preferred)
• NIH stroke certification, IV starts, wound care/wound vac, TBI, peripheral nerve blocks, and surgical drains preferred
• Charge experience preferred
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered per CMS guidelines)
• Smoke/nicotine free facility – compliance required
