Schedule: 8-week assignment, day shift 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, 64-bed unit with 15 designated neuro beds

Highlights:

• Intermediate Care Unit with diverse case mix including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory (COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI), CV stepdown, and post-operative patients
• Work with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, Neptune, and chronic ventilators
• EPIC EMR system utilized facility-wide
• Adult patient population (18 years and older)
• Respiratory therapy support available for ventilator management
• Floating to other units as needed based on facility requirements

Requirements:

• Active RN license in New York State (NURSYS verification required for all states)
• Minimum 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Two recent IMCU Charge or Manager RN references
• Valid driver's license
• Completed skills checklist matching specialty
