Schedule: 8:45 AM – 9:15 PM with weekend on-call coverage (typically 1-2 weekends per month); holiday on-call shifts as applicable

Highlights:

• Circulate across diverse surgical specialties including craniotomies, laparoscopic procedures, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, and robotics (excludes cardiovascular surgery)
• Work with advanced surgical cases including endovascular procedures and robotic-assisted surgeries
• Epic EMR system utilized; recent experience required
• 36-hour orientation provided to support successful transition
• Local and first-time travelers welcome at the same rate
• Patient-centered environment serving all age groups from neonates to geriatrics

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience required
• Valid Tennessee nursing license or Compact license at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Epic charting experience within the last 12 months is mandatory; must pass Epic competency examination
• Experience circulating for a wide range of surgical procedures including neurological, orthopedic, gynecological, urological, and general surgery cases
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only); flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Ability to float within skill set as needed
