Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho

Schedule: Night shift, rotating weekends; 8:1 RN-to-patient ratio in shared nursing model; no on-call required

Highlights:

• 13-week assignment in a 76-bed Behavioral Health Adult unit serving diverse mental health populations
• Part of a large, 330-bed regional medical center offering Level II Trauma and Level 1 ICU services
• Collaborative staffing model: charge nurse, 2 RNs, 2 mental health technicians, and additional sitters per shift
• EMR: Meditech
• Opportunity to deliver trauma-informed, holistic psychiatric nursing care in a Joint Commission-accredited facility
• Professional development support including Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training within 30 days of hire

Requirements:

• Current Idaho Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
• BLS or BCLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
• CPI/Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training (provided within 30 days of hire)
• 1 year of chemical dependency or psychiatric nursing experience preferred, or a strong desire to learn psychiatric nursing skills
