Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), with on-call requirements (3 shifts per 6-week period)

• 50-60% of daily caseload involves NICU and PICU patients, offering robust pediatric and neonatal experience

• Minimum 13-week contract with floating required as needed throughout pediatric units
• Comprehensive scope of practice including ventilator/NIV management, arterial blood gases, airway management, and specialized pediatric therapies

Requirements:

• Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential
• Active North Carolina or Compact state license (must be in hand at start)
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Required experience with neonates and pediatrics; NICU and PICU experience strongly preferred
• Pediatric Emergency Department experience highly desired
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS
• Proficiency in airway management, medication administration, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, bronchoscopes, nebulizers, BiPAP, and CPAP
• Labor and Delivery experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
