Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends, no call required
Highlights:
- High-volume Level IV Labor and Delivery unit with 32 beds
- 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios with dedicated charge nurse support
- Advanced fetal monitoring technology including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, and FSE
- Diverse case mix including spontaneous vaginal deliveries, cerclages, cesarean sections, and TOLAC procedures
- Meditech EMR system with intermediate fetal monitoring protocols
- No on-call requirements with predictable rotating weekend schedule
Requirements:
- Current RN license in Texas
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
- Intermediate fetal monitoring certification
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Competencies required: Electronic Fetal Monitoring, sterile vaginal exams, and cesarean section circulating
- Experience with internal monitor placement preferred
- Previous high-volume Level IV unit experience strongly preferred
