Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM / 7:00 PM start times); every other weekend; 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays per schedule period; holiday or hard-to-fill availability required

• 20-bed Step-Down Telemetry Care Unit with 4:1 patient ratios
• Cardiac-focused patient population including drips (Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Dobutamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin), post-cath care, BIPAP/CPAP/High Flow, chest tubes, and sepsis management
• State-of-the-art equipment including ZOLL, Baxter pumps, GE telemetry monitors, and Expanse documentation system
• Supportive team environment with unit secretaries, nurse externs, patient care techs, and experienced RN staff
• Collaborative culture with strong ICU and Cath Lab partnerships

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Virginia (or ability to obtain)
• ACLS certification required
• Step-Down or Acute Care experience required
• Experience managing cardiac drips, BIPAP/CPAP/High Flow oxygen therapy, and sepsis protocols
• Ability to float to other Step-Down units (4:1 ratio) or Med-Surg units (6:1 ratio) as needed
• Strong commitment to punctuality, teamwork, and bedside shift reporting standards
