Schedule: Day or Night Shift available. 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period. Flexibility required as up to 2 shifts per contract may be adjusted based on census.

Highlights:

• Work in a comprehensive Labor and Delivery unit with 4 Obstetric Emergency Department stretchers, 7 Antepartum beds, 10 labor beds, 2 LDOR rooms, and 2 LD PACU bays
• Collaborative team environment with 79 staff members including dedicated scrub techs, technicians, and unit support
• EMR systems include Meditech and GE CPN Centricity
• Standard patient ratios: OBED 1:2-4, Antepartum 1:2-4, Labor and Delivery 1:1-2 (depending on acuity)
• 13-week assignment with potential for extension
• May float to Antepartum Unit as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 complete years of Labor and Delivery Unit experience (post-orientation)
• Current BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and NRP from AAP certifications required
• Demonstrated experience with Magnesium Sulfate drip management and Oxytocin management
• Experience with insulin drip management
• Proficiency in sterile vaginal exams, FSE/IUPC placement, circulating cesarean sections, NSTs, Oxytocin induction/augmentation, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, and insulin drip titration
• Transition Care Nursing (TCN) of neonates experience preferred but not required
• Flexible, adaptable personality with strong commitment to meeting schedule requirements and attendance policy
