Schedule: 4:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends; 24-hour orientation; weekend coverage required; floating to other units as needed

Highlights:

• Specialized neuro stepdown unit focused on stroke care and neurological conditions
• 29-bed unit with daily census of 29 patients and comprehensive interdisciplinary support
• Epic charting system with advanced neurological procedures including TNK administration and lumbar drains
• Charge experience preferred with minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Pre-approved time off available; must be requested with submission
• Contract extension opportunity for qualified candidates

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Essential skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Arterial line management, Cardiac Telemetry, Central line care/management, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Telemetry monitoring, Titrating Cardiac drips, Wound Care/Wound Vac
• Neurological skills are a hard stop requirement
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; charge experience preferred
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
• 2 professional references required (at least 1 from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
