Schedule: 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required; patient ratios 1:4 (days/evenings) and 1:5 (nights)

Highlights:

• 23-bed cardiac medical unit specializing in hemodynamically stable cardiac patients including MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, and post-procedural care
• Comprehensive telemetry monitoring with experience managing cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Diltiazem, Dobutamine, Milrinone, and insulin infusions
• Post-procedural care for cardiac catheterizations (radial and femoral approach), ablations, cardioversions, pacemakers, and ICDs
• Allscripts EMR with medication scanning capabilities and modern equipment including telemetry monitoring, vein finders, and automated vital sign machines
• Collaborative team environment with dedicated charge nurse, RN staff, patient care techs, and monitor technicians on each shift
• Float within similar patient care areas to expand skills and experience

Requirements:

• Active RN license in New Hampshire or compact state eligibility
• ACLS certification required
• Cardiac telemetry experience and knowledge essential
• Strong background in medical-surgical nursing with telemetry monitoring
• Experience with cardiac medical patients, procedural care (cardiac catheterizations), and managing cardiac drips
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
