Schedule: Every other weekend required; Day shift: 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio; Night shift: 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio

Highlights:

• 23-bed cardiac medical-surgical unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities
• Diverse patient population including post-MI, heart failure, new onset AFib, procedural patients (cardiac caths, ablations, cardioversions, pacemakers, ICDs), and patients requiring cardiac drips
• Allscripts EMR with medication scanning and soft-lab capabilities
• Advanced equipment including telemetry monitoring, vein finders, continuous pulse oximetry, and mechanical lifts
• Comprehensive procedural experience with cardiac catheterizations (radial and femoral approaches), EP studies, and cardiac drip management
• Collaborative team environment with dedicated charge nurses, RNs, PCTs, and medical technicians on each shift

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• ACLS certification required
• Cardiac telemetry knowledge and experience mandatory
• Demonstrated knowledge and skill set for cardiac medical patients, procedural patients (cardiac caths), and cardiac drip management
• Strong medical-surgical background with telemetry experience preferred
• Flexibility to float within similar clinical areas
