Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 8 or 12-hour shifts (1900-0730 and 2300-0730), with weekend rotation and some holiday requirements. Patient ratio 2:1.

• Work in an 18-bed Neuroscience ICU within a Magnet-designated, Comprehensive Stroke Center ranked #1 in Wisconsin
• Care for critically ill adult patients with diverse neuro diagnoses including stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, surgical resections, and trauma
• Perform specialized interventions including ICP monitoring, EVD management, hemodynamic monitoring, and hypothermia protocols
• Epic EMR system experience required, preferably within the last 12 months
• 13-week travel assignment with approximately one week of orientation
• Collaborative interdisciplinary team environment with nationally certified physicians and supportive nursing leadership

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin or Compact nursing license in hand at time of application
• Minimum two years of acute care experience within the last three years in specialty area
• Successfully completed previous travel assignment (13 weeks minimum)
• Must have experience with ICP monitoring or ventricular drains (ventric)
• BLS and ACLS certifications through American Heart Association required
• Basic Arrhythmia experience and ability to pass telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to start
• Epic charting experience required
• Permanent address must be 50 miles or more from primary work site
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
