Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), on-call required 3 shifts per 6-week period

Highlights:

• Community hospital setting with diverse patient population including NICU, PICU, Pediatric ED, and Med/Surgical units
• 50-60% of daily caseload consists of NICU and PICU patients
• Epic EMR system utilized throughout facility
• Minimum 13-week contract with 24-30 hours of orientation provided
• First-time travelers welcome; locals accepted
• Comprehensive respiratory care including ventilator/NIV management, arterial blood gases, and airway management

Requirements:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Active North Carolina or Compact state respiratory therapy license in hand at time of start
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• NICU and Pediatrics experience mandatory
• PICU and Pediatric ED experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in airway management, medication administration, ABGs, oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, and mechanical ventilation
• Labor and Delivery experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must be flexible with floating to various pediatric units and on-call assignments
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
