Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend and some holidays required

Highlights:

• 18-bed Neuroscience ICU within a Comprehensive Stroke Center at Wisconsin's #1 ranked, Magnet-designated hospital
• Specialized care for critically ill adult patients with stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, traumatic brain injury, post-neurosurgery, and spinal cord injury
• 2:1 patient ratios on days, nights, and weekends
• Epic EMR system required; experience within the last 12 months preferred
• Interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
• 13-week travel assignment with comprehensive orientation program

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin nursing license or compact state license in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years acute care experience within the last 3 years in specialty area (hard requirement)
• Successfully completed previous travel assignment (13 weeks minimum)
• ICP or ventricular drain management experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification through American Heart Association ONLY
• Basic Arrhythmia experience; must pass telemetry exam prior to start with strict passing criteria
• Epic charting experience required
• Permanent address must be 50 miles or more from work site
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
