Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend and some holidays required
Highlights:
- 18-bed Neuroscience ICU within a Comprehensive Stroke Center at Wisconsin's #1 ranked, Magnet-designated hospital
- Specialized care for critically ill adult patients with stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, traumatic brain injury, post-neurosurgery, and spinal cord injury
- 2:1 patient ratios on days, nights, and weekends
- Epic EMR system required; experience within the last 12 months preferred
- Interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
- 13-week travel assignment with comprehensive orientation program
Requirements:
- Active Wisconsin nursing license or compact state license in hand at time of submittal
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience within the last 3 years in specialty area (hard requirement)
- Successfully completed previous travel assignment (13 weeks minimum)
- ICP or ventricular drain management experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification through American Heart Association ONLY
- Basic Arrhythmia experience; must pass telemetry exam prior to start with strict passing criteria
- Epic charting experience required
- Permanent address must be 50 miles or more from work site
- Trauma Level I experience preferred
