Schedule: Self-scheduling; 6:1 patient ratios (days, nights, and weekends); every other weekend; no call required

Highlights:

• General Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit treating a diverse patient population including stroke, COPD, AKI, chest pain, diabetes, pneumonia, and COVID patients
• First-time travelers welcomed with a minimum of 1 year of experience
• Epic charting system preferred; interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, physical therapy, and more
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed; orientation hours provided based on contract length
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate; flexible assignment lengths available
• Adult and geriatric patient population with strong team-based care model

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact state RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency in isolation precautions, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at submission
• Full compliance required prior to start; candidates must be available to complete labs and core documentation within 48 hours of signing
• Flexibility to work major holidays as scheduled (holiday availability required based on assignment length)
