Location: Ohio

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (weekdays and some weekends); 4:1 patient ratio

Highlights:

• Mixed med-surg/PCU unit with 27 beds and diverse patient population including adults and geriatrics
• EPIC EMR charting system
• 36-hour orientation provided upon arrival
• Strong interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Opportunity to work with a range of diagnoses including general medical issues, organ failure, substance withdrawal, and complex behavioral cases
• May float to lower acuity units as needed within the health system

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN license or valid compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• IV certification required
• EPIC experience strongly preferred
• Experience with PCU/stepdown, telemetry, IV management, PICC lines, chest tubes, isolation precautions, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Travel nursing experience is a plus
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
• Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
