Description
Start Date: February 15, 2026
Location: Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 hour Night shifts. Weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays. Patient ratio of 1:4-5.
Highlights:
- Work in a specialized transplant and progressive care environment with diverse patient populations including kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant patients
- 48-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
- Epic charting system utilized for documentation
- Opportunity to develop advanced skills in telemetry monitoring, central line management, IV insulin protocols, and dysrhythmia interpretation
- 13-week travel assignment with ability to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
- Dynamic care environment serving adult patient populations with complex medical needs
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
- Minimum 4 years of MS/TELE experience preferred
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Valid compact or Ohio state RN license in hand at time of application
- Proficiency with Epic charting system required
- Strong skills in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, central line care, and management of dysrhythmias
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or director
