Schedule: Night shift, 36-hour orientation, weekend shifts assigned per unit needs

Highlights:

• Float pool position serving multiple progressive care/step-down units across various campus locations
• Patient ratio of 1:3-4, caring for adult and geriatric populations
• Epic charting system in use
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Exposure to diverse patient diagnoses and step-down level acuity
• Up to two blocks of pre-approved time off available (no requests accepted between 2/15/26 and 2/28/26)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of progressive care or step-down nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in IV starts and cardiac telemetry monitoring required
• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Graduation from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Skills required: arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, telemetry interpretation, vasoactive drip management, insulin protocols, wound care, and more
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or director
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
