Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM; floating required

Highlights:

• 64-bed medical-surgical stroke stepdown unit serving adult patient population
• Diverse case mix including stroke, altered mental status, renal/dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation, pneumonia, and general medical-surgical conditions
• Work with specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
• EPIC EMR system in use
• Night shift schedule with opportunities for consistent assignments

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license required
• Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in medical-surgical stroke stepdown nursing
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Two recent charge nurse or manager references
• Completed skills checklist matching specialty
