Schedule: PM shift with weekend flexibility required; 24-hour orientation provided

Highlights:

• Acute care hospital with 356 staffed beds serving 210-240 births per month
• Epic charting system with free parking and flexible scrub color policy
• Care for low and high-risk labor patients including antepartum with multiples, hypertensive disorders, and diabetic conditions
• Float to Mother/Baby unit; may circulate and recover cesarean sections, PP D&C
• Interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Follow AWHONN standards with patient ratios of 1:1 for active labor

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced (or C-EFM in lieu), BLS, NRP
• Experience with telemetry interpretation, circulating and scrubbing for C-sections
• Precepting skills strongly preferred
• Epic experience required; newborn care and Baby Friendly experience ideal
• Ability to perform non-stress tests and set up delivery tables
• Must be willing to float between affiliated facilities within the region
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
