Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Highlights:

• Primary focus on Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) with mixed ICU overflow coverage
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required, with at least 2 years as staff CVICU nurse
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Opportunity to work with advanced cardiac interventions including ECMO, IABP, VAD, and TAVR

Requirements:

• Valid Maryland or Compact RN license
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience with at least 2 years in CVICU as staff nurse
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and CALS
• 16-hour Maryland Approved Trauma Certification required by week 27
• Strong competency in cardiovascular critical care including post-cardiac surgery, CABG, valve procedures, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Experience with ventilator management, vasoactive drips, and complex cardiovascular equipment
• Ability to float to all areas including Emergency Department as needed
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
