Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday; 5:1 patient ratio
Highlights:
- Work in a Certified Stroke Center and Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
- Diverse case mix including neurology patients and telemetry overflow from other specialties
- 40 hours of orientation with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, RT, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
- Utilize Cerner EMR system for charting and documentation
- 36-bed unit with daily census of approximately 36 patients
- Opportunity for extended contract assignments
Requirements:
- Valid Maryland or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Neurology and Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Basic EKG testing through Prophecy Relias must be successfully completed before orientation
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Experience with 5:1 patient ratios preferred
- Previous charge experience and trauma center experience preferred
