Schedule: 36 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday; 5:1 patient ratio

Highlights:

• Work in a Certified Stroke Center and Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
• Diverse case mix including neurology patients and telemetry overflow from other specialties
• 40 hours of orientation with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, RT, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Utilize Cerner EMR system for charting and documentation
• 36-bed unit with daily census of approximately 36 patients
• Opportunity for extended contract assignments

Requirements:

• Valid Maryland or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Neurology and Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Basic EKG testing through Prophecy Relias must be successfully completed before orientation
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Experience with 5:1 patient ratios preferred
• Previous charge experience and trauma center experience preferred
