Schedule: Self-scheduling with variable weekend shifts based on staffing needs; patient ratios vary by unit

Highlights:

• Comprehensive Cancer Center with 318 acute care beds and specialized oncology units
• Work with diverse oncology populations including BMT, Acute Leukemia, Hematology, Medical Oncology, PCU Oncology, and Surgical Oncology
• Epic charting system with 100 hours of orientation provided
• Float to MedSurg and PCU Oncology units with strong interdisciplinary support including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Rapid Response Teams
• Advanced oncology skill development including chemotherapy administration, port management, and specialized post-surgical care
• One pre-approved time off period available

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with previous travel experience required
• Experience with 4:1 patient ratios and Epic charting system
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, OCN, ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
• Required Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Chemotherapy Administration and Monitoring, IV Insulin Protocols, Oncology care, Non-invasive airway management, Wound Care/Wound Vac, and Titration of Insulin drips
• Experience with oncology patient populations including adults and geriatrics
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required: at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
