Description
Start Date: January 26, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights), schedule assignments reviewed every 4 weeks based on departmental needs
Highlights:
- 13-16 week travel contract in a specialized corrections healthcare setting
- Float between Oncology Medical-Surgical and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignments
- Patient ratios: 1:3 for PCU, 1:4-5 for Medical-Surgical
- Epic charting system and Pyxis medication management
- 72 hours of comprehensive orientation provided
- Diverse patient population including oncology, post-surgical, respiratory, and renal conditions
Requirements:
- Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Epic charting experience required
- Oncology experience preferred but not required
- Medical-Surgical and/or Telemetry experience
- Competencies in cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, respiratory management, and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- 2 professional references (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
- Ability to complete urgent Ohio fingerprinting requirements upon contract signing
