Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week; every other weekend required

Highlights:

• 31-bed medical-surgical unit with an average daily census of 25 patients
• Must be capable of serving in charge nurse capacity during night shifts
• Experience with CPAP/BiPAP management and medication titrations required
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• EPIC EMR system used for all documentation and patient care management
• 24 hours of orientation provided; float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• IV certification and demonstrated proficiency in IV starts
• Previous charge nurse experience strongly preferred
• Experience with telemetry, titrating cardiac drips, tracheostomy care, and managing complex medical-surgical patients
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Valid compact or Ohio state RN license in hand at time of application
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or director
