Location: Torrance, California

Schedule: PM shift with flexibility for weekend coverage; orientation includes 24 hours

• Epic charting system with 24-hour orientation provided
• 22-room unit caring for low and high-risk labor patients including multiples, hypertensive disorders, and diabetic conditions

• May float to Mother/Baby unit; float opportunities available to affiliated facility location as needed

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced (or C-EFM in lieu of Advanced AWHONN)
• Skills required: circulating and scrubbing for C-sections, telemetry interpretation, newborn care, and ability to perform non-stress tests
• Precepting experience strongly preferred
• Must be flexible to work weekends and commit to 3 of 5 major holidays
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
