Location: Randallstown, Maryland

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required. 24-hour orientation provided. Patient ratio of 5-6 patients.

Highlights:

• Med Surg/Telemetry unit admitting patients from the Emergency Department meeting admission criteria
• 40-bed unit with daily census of approximately 40 patients, caring for adult and geriatric populations
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, and physical therapy
• Up to two pre-approved time-off periods available
• Float within hospital within scope of practice

Requirements:

• Valid Maryland RN license or active Compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Prophecy Relias Basic EKG certification required
• 4-hour annual stroke CEUs required
• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry, and basic EKG
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients
• Professional references required
