Location: Augusta, Georgia

Schedule: 9-week shifts (72 hours bi-weekly); rotating schedule of 6:30am-3pm and 8:30am-5pm; 5 days one week, 4 days the next with one day off every other week; no weekends

Highlights:

• Diverse surgical case mix including retina surgery, total joint replacements, hand surgery, breast oncology/reconstruction, ENT, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, and podiatry
• Five operating rooms with average daily census of 18 procedures
• 1:4 nurse-to-room ratio providing manageable workload
• Epic EMR and Pyxis medication management systems
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year OR circulator experience
• No mandatory call requirements; occasional extension based on room completion status

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact State RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Minimum 1 year of intraoperative circulator experience
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Experience with diverse patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Proficiency in perioperative nursing skills including specimen handling, laser safety, blood product administration, and universal protocol procedures
• Two supervisory references from Manager level or above required at submission
• Annual flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Full compliance documentation due by Tuesday prior to start date
