Location: Leawood, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3 shifts per week; every third weekend required

Highlights:

• 28-bed Cardiovascular Care Unit specializing in acute cardiac patients including post-catheterization lab procedures (ablations, PFO closures, stents, pacemakers) and stroke care
• Patient ratio of 4-5:1 with strong team support including charge nurses and unit technicians
• Meditech EBC documentation system; comprehensive unit equipment including EKG, bladder scanners, Alaris pumps, and Pyxis
• Facility recognized as a CP Center, Primary Stroke Center, and holds multiple Centers of Excellence certifications
• Strong focus on patient experience with daily Nurse Leader Rounds and emphasis on safety, quality, and documentation compliance
• Unencumbered charge nurse support, dedicated clinical educator, and highly engaged cardiology team

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Basic Dysrhythmia and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Cardiac nursing experience preferred
• Strong team orientation and commitment to patient-centered care
