Description
Start Date: January 12, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, night shift with rotating weekends, 13-week contract, no call required
Highlights:
- 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit with 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios
- Level IV, high-volume unit with advanced fetal monitoring technology including Novii, JADA, and Fetal Pillow
- Diverse case mix including spontaneous vaginal deliveries, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
- Meditech EMR system with experienced team of 150 staff members
- Supportive charge nurse structure with dedicated co-charge nurses on each shift
- 13-week contract with no call requirement
Requirements:
- Current RN license in Texas
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
- Intermediate fetal monitoring competency
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), sterile vaginal exam (SVE), and C-section circulation competencies required
- Internal monitor placement competency preferred
